Is your vine in the greenhouse? If so, could it be scorching from watering midday when the sun is very hot? This can cause the brown shrivelling at the edges of leaves & is one of the reasons why gardening experts generally tell us to do our watering either very early in the morning or in the evening.

Mine are growing in clay soil with a bit of blood fish and bone mixed in and seem to be thriving. I also have oregano growing in the same tub, which covers most of the surface and probably acts as a mulch to stop it drying out too quickly. They are also growing in full sun.

Could it be mildew on the leaves? A white powder will form on the underside of the leaves and cause them to go brown.
