I think the extra security is also for the 560 tickets that were stolen destined for the Falkirk and Dunfermline area. If anybody turns up with one of the tickets they will not get in and will be questioned by police as to where they got them.0 -
anyone know anything about a bar there?? not that im an alchoholic you understand?0

Sounds a jackanory. How would they know pecise tickets that were missing, and how would they cancel a paper ticket anyway?
They say same about folk buying tickets on ebay will have them cancelled, but have you ever heard of anyone being turned away from a concert recently? Me neither.

Just back from Robbie
Just to let you know the following..................
Doors open at 4pm BUT only the first X amount of people to go into the stadium get a wrist band and that wrist band lets you into the *front section* of standing.
Yep that's right, 2 different sections. Obviously the front section is closer, even though the stage comes right into the middle of the crowd (and to be honest, Robbie spent more time on the bit out there than he did on the main stage)
We got there at 5pm and all the wrist bands were handed out so were in the second row behind the barrier at the rear section of standing. Still a good view, but not as close as I would like to have been (as the back section of the front section was empty if that makes sense) but security staff prevented us from hopping over.
If you want to be guaranteed front section, you will have to get there for doors opening if not earlier (some girls had been camping out !!)
Orson came on stage bang on 6pm - did 6 or so songs, very good.
Basement Jaxx came on stage bang on 7pm, did 45 minutes and were FABULOUS
And Mr Williams came on stage bang on 8.30pm (clue - don't look on the main stage, don't look up, look at the smoke and you will be first to see him)
Did 2 hours in total. Went off about 10pm and came on for his encore of 3 songs, but then did another which seemed to be spontaneous but could have been part of the show and went off by 10.30pm.
No liquids allowed in the stadium (but can obviously buy alcohol and water inside) and all our tickets were checked by the police in detail, i.e numbers / codes before they were checked AGAIN by rock steady staff.
Think that's it - have a fabulous time if you are going Saturday - Robbie Williams definitely still has 'IT' !!****************************0
