jonny now is on hukd, it's being dealt with, can this thread be expired please.
  • Maybe you praised topcashback or something - they don't like that as they (hotukdeals) are owned by Quidco.

Any 'deal' on HUKD will be on here too so you are not missing out on anything - might as well stick around here.

  • I got a ban quite a few years ago, but it wasn't a 'normal' ban, it was a 'posting ban' so I can log in, do messages and vote on deals.
The Ban was for speaking out about how useless Quidco was and how my money seemed to just vanish. That was back in the good old days of £150 for a Mobile phone contract.
Anyway Paul who owns HUKD and Quidcrap didn't like it and banned me. He is a nasty, rude person and has no interpersonal skills.

Since the forum changed and they have promoted more mods the place is worse than a School playground and to be honest, you are much better out of it.
I think MSE is a much better place and most of the Members are very nice and helpful, not many trolls over here or Mod wannabees.

You're right about the differences between the two - far too much obsessing over 2p off a packet of Refreshers on HUKD, a lot of pointless backbiting, and some very petty mods.

I wonder why there's such a big difference between the two.

Money, PPC, Referral links and 'hidden' trade-doubler links (not sure on the exact terminology) but when you click on say Amazon, HUKD make some money. When you go through Quidco they make money, it's all about money and they aren't as 'upfront' about it as Martin is.

If its a site I can get cashback via then I do that
if not, then why should i care if HDUK makes money from it?
