Well my dad is going to Malta on Sat, maybe he can take it for you lol
Seriously, if you have stated UK only and he is bidding, you have the right to cancel his bid and block him from your auctions, it will say "cancel bids" on the bidders page. Alternativly, take a look at how much it will cost to ship it to Malta and advise him he will have to pay the new (probably higher) postage cost if he wants to continue to bid.
JoshThe main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0 -
Thanks JPS but even if I did find how much it would cost to ship to malta how could I include it into the final invoice at the end when postage is uk only?0

Well I have told the person it is uk only as is stated on the auction. I don't think theres a need to cancel his bid as the going rate is much higher than its currently standing at with 2 days to go.0

Just make sure he is aware of the P&P cost before the bidding finishes. Send him a polite e-mail and ask him to reply to confirm he knows. If he does win and pays, just send him a Paypal money request email for the amount he owes you and say this needs to be paid before the item can be despatched. The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0

I agree with JPS as usual. If you are not going to block his bid then you must make sure he knows how much it is going to cost him p and p wise before the auction ends. You ought to let him know your payment methods for non UK payments as well, just in case of problems later. I specifiy non UK payments via paypal in UK sterling funds only.
You can set your preferences to exclude non UK purchasers, but if you have already done that and still got this bidder it might mean they are actually in the uK at the moment. I had one recently, showed as US but actually were able to provide a UK address for shipment.
