in Credit cards
Been trying to get this for a while now for the purpose of a balance transfer, apparently it was one if the quicker ones.
However for me its been an absolute nightmare, shocking service and total confusion, wont bore you all with the details.
They said they have sent out the cred agreement yesterday for me to sign, can anyone put a time on how fast you can get a BT with them once you sign the agreement.
Basically I was hoping to get this cards balance moved, already been stung for one months interest!
Current statement online reads as follows :
Estimated interst £30.69
Minimum payment £60.75 to reach us by 18th September 2006
Any tips on whats best to do, apart from pay it off totally, not an option at moment

Didn't take too long for them to pay my other card, maybe within a week. Been with PO for a couple of months now and I know what you mean about customer service. All very helpful and that, but nothing really happens. It took 3 calls to make them believe I was a he and not a she (all previous correspondance addressed to Mrs) and the platinum card I applied and got accepted for was suddenly turned to the standard version. Oh and the credit card statements have got to be the worst I have ever seen.0

Thanks for your feedback.
I'm sorry you've been messed around. My own application and balance transfer to this card proceeded like clockwork last month and I've since requested two further BTs over the phone without a hitch.can anyone put a time on how fast you can get a BT with them once you sign the agreement.
If you complete the balance transfer request on your credit agreement, this saves a day. I posted the paperwork back by return and my transfer was completed in 7 working days.
Hope all goes smoothly from here on.

Absolute jokers from start to finish, dont think I have dealt with so much incompetence from within one company for a while and there has been a few.
Told them to pull the plug on my application on the phone yesterday, I mean its only been what 6 weeks or so at a guess!
First they took a week to send out the forms, then they said they never received them, then they said they did!
So one minute, one person hadn't heard of me, next minute another collegue had!
I sent them stuff off first thing Monday and they said it hadn't arrived yet!
Telling me a piece of mail is going to take that long, not a chance.
Thats the shortened version, the list goes on and on.
Going to have to pay off the card with my savings now because of these idiots.
They should stick to being a PO, mind you they are not exactly setting the world on fire with that service either it seems0 -
They do seem to have admin problems - I was called Mrs for the first few weeks and the platinum card I applied for shouldn't turned into a standard card (not that it really matters for what I use the card for). Maybe they underestimated the level of interest they would get in the card - I mean since its been launched quite a few fee free cards have disappeared0
