help pls OE and ntl problem

Hi our OE on all our acct just stopped working one day, we tried everything but nothing seemed to work. we can access our email addresses through NTL's webmail.
We have tried to reset OE but were it says incoming mail it should say pop.ntlworld.com it keeps saying 127.0.01 we reset it and as soon as you log off the acct it changes back to 127.0.01 we cant get rid of this so if anyone has any info or advice it would be very much appreicated.. you lot have solved problems for me in the past

Disable any email scanning software you may have, e.g. Norton.0

This sometimes happens with my OE mail.
Checking account settings, they seem ok and only cures by closing computer down, waiting a while and then when switching back on, and OE works perfectly again. Could be NTL mail server problems.ac's lovechild0 -
downloaded mozilla thunderbird a couple of years ago after OE took a funny turn and have never looked back..
