Bought faulty satnav, seller refused return

I bought a satnav from ebay last week, the power button is slightly dodgy, have to press it at an angle to turn it on.

Informed the seller who told me, it was common on this type of make, but I think he made that up.

Requested to return it for a refund and he told me he does not accept returns, even though in the listing it said returns accepted.

He is now ignoring my emails. Is there any way I can get a refund?

Open an item not as described via Paypal and escalate (as the buyer has already stated he is unwilling to refund) onece Paypal decide you will need to return the item tracked at your own cost and you will be refunded your full original payment (including outgoing p&p)

Looks like the silly seller is in for a shock

Appreciate the good advice I'll give that a go, can't believe how stubborn the seller is.

Hope paypal don't side with the seller.

Just to reiterate what has been said, make sure you send it back tracked. Use Special Delivery over recorded, it will cost more but will track.

goodness , is that poor stock or what. If they are full disputes be careful as at some point soon ebay count them towards your seller satisfaction rating and they cna get you one step closer to suspension.

I have had just the same seller wont refund claimed through pp and got refunded seller still says wont refund.

Sounds like he got it from PayPal via a claim but the seller still hasn't realized PayPal refunded the money.

yes got refund from pp yesterday, seller emailed today to say wont refund.
