I dont like weeds taking valuable nutrients from my plants so I am diligent when weeding when they are small. I throw them all in a bucket filled with water, and noticed that its now a little aquarium full of small swimming thingis. I intend to pour this over my crops as a liquid compost. Is this a good idea?

You have in effect made a compost tea! This usually needs to be diluted before using it as fertilser for your crops, alternatively, you could add it to your compost heap as a compost accelerator (if you have a compost heap).Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
