I keep getting an error message saying the page cannot be displayed when ever I try to access my online banking site or use a link to another page from a site I am using, I think it's a setting issue but not sure how to reset, any idea's. Thanks

    Here's my fix it all for secure site probs;

After you've cleared your cookies, temp files and sll slate and if that doesn't work........

    Re-register the following .dll files:
    Softpub.dll
    Wintrust.dll
    Initpki.dll
    Dssenh.dll
    Rsaenh.dll
    Gpkcsp.dll
    Sccbase.dll
    Slbcsp.dll
    Cryptdlg.dll
To re-register these files, follow these steps:
    1. Click Start, and then click Run.
    2. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
    3. At the command prompt, type the following lines and press ENTER after each line:
    regsvr32 softpub.dll
    regsvr32 wintrust.dll
    regsvr32 initpki.dll
    regsvr32 dssenh.dll
    regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
    regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
    regsvr32 sccbase.dll
    regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
    regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
    4. Click OK when you receive the message that DllRegisterServer in FileName succeeded.
    5. Type exit.

    Often sorts it out.
  • Have you got the right cipher strength i.e. 128-bit security?

Select "Help" then "About Internet Explorer" which should tell you. If not 128-bit, it will tell you how to upgrade and provide a link.
