Occasional whining noise from freezer

Got a 3 year old built in Candy freezer which has started to make an occasional whining noise - a bit like the noise you get from a tap when there is some air trapped. It lasts a couple of minutes. Otherwise it is working OK.
Any idea what it could be?

What a coincidence, I've got a *3 year old Wife who has started making regular whining noises, it lasts a couple of hours. Otherwise she's OK
Any idea what it could be? is it also trapped air?0 -
My parents old fridge used to make some odd noises but it worked fine for years only got rid of it when the door seals went.0
