you are all very welcome. I was going to make some pasta sauces and soups but wondering - do you think I could just freeze the cartons?

Won't be a problem if the sell by dates are far off but just in case.....

They'll be fine in the freezer but I wouldn't bother, they'll last 2 years anyway!
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Thanks OP, went into Tesco to do my shop tonight and picked up the last 6 cartons of tomato and basil. Wanting to try the garlic ones but all gone, only chilli ones left. Can i ask anyone that has tried the chilli ones are they really hot? Didn't buy them as i don't like really hot stuff but DH likes it hot! TIA :)

We use them as tomato sauce on home made pizzas. Nicer than passata as it also give some tomato chunks on your pizza, not just sauce.

I use the tomato with garlic & olive oil as a sauce with pasta, and it is absolutely delicious.

Other flavours also used as a base for shepherds pie, casseroles etc.
