Tesco Chopped Tomatoes - 59p buy 1 get 2 free

Just dropped into Tesco for milk and noticed 340g packets of chopped tomatoes for 59p and on buy 1 get 2 free.
Had tomato with chilli
tomato with garlic and olive oil and
tomato with basil
will stock up at the end of the week I think. Didn't have time to look at the sell by dates although I did wonder if that could be the reason for offering them at less than 20p each?

you are all very welcome. I was going to make some pasta sauces and soups but wondering - do you think I could just freeze the cartons?
Won't be a problem if the sell by dates are far off but just in case.....NO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
Im not sure if you can freeze cartons or whether they would expand in the freezer. I would go for the side of caution and decant the tomato into freezer bags and label the bags up!January GC: £64.81/£80.00
