Outlook problems - dates being deleted

Can anyone tell me how I can stop Outlook deleting my calendar items after 6 months - they all appear in my deletions folder. I think it only seems to have happened since synchronising my Blackberry (although I may be wrong) but I can't find any settings which activated it. I only have one computer at home - no exchange or anything like that.
I am not sure what version it is - 11.0.8312.0 is the version when I checked the file and I think I have Office 2003 but again I am not sure.
Hope someone can help and many thanks.

Have you checked your AutoArchive settings in case it's set to permanently delete after 6 months?
