I have a Sony DCR SR55 handycam. I download my videos on to my PC under Picture Motion Browser. When I try to transfer videos onto Movie maker or live moviemaker they show up as audio files and will not show up on the preview screen for editing. Any ideas

    In all probability you don't have the correct codec installed on the PC. Did the handycam come with any installation CDs?

    If not, I'd try the Support section of the Sony website and see what's available for download.
