Outlook Problem

I recently got a new pc (64 bit with windows 7, home premium). When I got the PC I was told I would be able to load my old 2003 version of outlook but I'm having some problems.
The software seemed to load ok and I hooked up the first of my accounts (I have an aol account and a hotmail account), but although I can see my AOL emails, I can't send any and it keeps coming up with the following message.
'Your Imap server wishes to alert you to the following 159 (1032) That mail is not currently available.
Has anyone got any thoughts.

Outlook does work fine with Windows 7 64bit. I use it myself.
However, it doesn't work fine until it's had all the service packs installed - one of them (SP3? Can't quite remember...) is essential. so make sure you've run Microsoft Update and got all the updates for Outlook (there will be a few!)
