looking for health insurance. where do i start?

Do you mean private medical insurance? If so you could try here (http://www.moneysupermarket.com/medical/) as a first step. You could also try one of the alternative companies like HSA (http://www.hsa.co.uk/HSA).

Can't help much more as I am covered by 2 policies in work (that work similar to HSA).

yeh thanks. Looked at a few quotes this evening and having logged in and out of egg they say they will give me cash back of 100 in january if i sign up with pruheath. Ideal... i only plan on having the insurance for a year or so, so makes it a sizeable saving.
