we have started looking into these machines for our family, i do at least 2 washes every day and i am wearing out the washing machine - the drive belt split yesterday, i've had two wheel bearings replaced and its only 2 and a half years old. so I'm looking into whether i should change to one of these as they are described as being for light comercial use.
who else has one and can anyone recommend (or not) the best one to use?

Yes, yes, yes, get one. The best make (most popular) is Maytag but Whirlpool are also good. I have lived in the USA and their washing machines last for 20 years or more. Do not expect umpteen programmes - you select hot, warm or cold water and fast or slow spin. Plus if you drop something on the way to the machine you can just lift the lid and put it in. You will need more room than one of our washing machines because they are quite big - I could not have one in my utility room.0
