want to donate mileage plus miles

is there any charity that wants mileage plus airmiles (united)? I never could figure out how this scheme works so i reckon the best thing i could do with them is donate them.

Just phoned airmiles who say that there is no charity to who we can give our unused airmiles. They fly away into the profits of airmiles at the end of March.

hiya, the 2simpletrust might be able to make use of them, they help families (Jack Brown is the family i know) who have a child with neuroblastoma (cancer) have treatment in america so its a lot of flights back and forth. No idea whether this of any use to you, but check out http://www.helpfromhome.org/action_goodcauses_miscellaneous.htm and scroll down to 'Donate AirMiles / Credit Card Loyalty Points'. Not sure whether these organisations will take your airmiles, but I suppose there's no harm in checking them out.
