I keep getting messages in Hotmail that say postmaster@mail.hot delivery status notification failure. These are all from an unknown sender. I don't send out many messages in a week, maybe one or two. There are at least a page of these daily. How can I get rid of them. I have reported them as junk. I have switched my email to high security. I have gone into them and marked them as junk. I have asked at the Hotmail forum and gotten no answer. I have emailed Hotmail and recieved no reply. What do I do now?

Nothing really apart from creating a filter which deletes this messages automatically. Either these messages are SPAM itself or they are bounces when somebody used your email address for sending SPAM to non-existent addresses.
The more people your email address have the more likely it is that it will happen one day. My advice is to never take part in all these chain letters where people keep forwarding (funny?) emails again and again with all previous email addresses visible in the email body.0 -
I never ever pass on chain emails. I don't know how to create a filter to delete these automatically. I had 72 emails today. 71 of these and one old messageTime is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0

Select options (top right hand corner)
Select more options
Select bocked senders
add postmaster@mail.hot to your blocked senders list.
PS: It would appear you may have a typo, bounced mail is usually from postmaster@mail.hotmail.com"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
