Iva redundancy maternity help

Would arreciate some help if possilble.

I'm in an IVA which I'm due to make the last payment to in July this year.

My life has been on hold for 5 years and I think I should have just gone bankrupt in the first place for all the hassle the IVA has caused me.

I am 33 weeks pregnant and was made redudant on 30th April.

I have been paid my statutary maternity pay (in one lump sum) and have had a redundancy pay out.

I have made all my IVA payments, and just continued with them after the reduncdacny as the IVA company are clueless and no help at all - I didn't want to get threats of bankrupcy etc so near to the end of the IVA.

I have now accidentally let them know about the redundancy pay and they are saying they want the lot as its a windfall.

If I have to pay them the lot then it will probably have a very big strain on my relationship and my partner will probably lose his house (as i won't be able to contribute until I work again - which I can't do until at least I am not officially receiving SMP).

Any help would be a great help.

To add to the above, my IP messed about so much at the start of the IVA it should have finished in April, so I would have had none of these problems.

The redundancy is not a huge sum of money, but enough to enable me not to have to work for the first 12 months of my babys life if I don't spend much.
