    I've been Money Tipped!
    I've always found Asda's brown paper to be cheaper than Poundland - 50p for 4m x 68mm

I'm not a fan of brown paper. It rips, gets wet, crumples and is heavy and takes 10 times longer for a packer to use.

A good poly bag, box, jiffy with padding and/or bubble is the way to go.

I buy cheap boxes and recycle old ones for packing using a cardboard box shredder. It is awesome. Could dispose of a lot of competitors and no one would know!

Its also surprisingly heavy and can easily tip the scales on lighter items.

I get my jiffy bags, cellotape and address labels from Poundland. Mega cheap AND they come in all the sizes I require.

Grateful to this thread for clearing up a mystery. I have no sense of smell and had a complaint ages ago about an item smelling of smoke. Fortunately it was sealed inside also, so the smell hadn't permeated through. Who would have thought it may be the plastic.

The boxes I use I have a deal with my local postoffice and I get them just above cost and the bubble wrap from the local garden centre 1 metre wide and at 60p a metre so it is a very good bargain. Parcel tape I buy from Asda when it is 2 rolls for £1. Remember to save all your receipts for the tax man.

All of our display items at work arrive in bubble wrap.

Lots of stuff gets delivered to work in nice big jiffy bags.

I work in a shoe shop...so have an endless supply of boxes...but try not to need these...

I just buy brown tape :D:D

Always worth asking shops you are in whether they have any bubble wrap...other wrapping items...we have continuous requests for shoe boxes & are also happy to save things that we would usually throw away to give to people who want them :)

    Be cheeky...you don't get if you don't ask ;)
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

I often recycle packaging from things i have ordered off ebay, or like others have suggested poundland or even ebay itself.
