Need some advice

I want to open two saving accounts, one I can access easily and the other one that I can't.

Account 1 (No access)
£400 going in each month
Have £1000 to put it in now

Account 2 (Easy access)
No fixed amount going in every month
Could put £1000 in it now if needed to, but would prefer not to.

Not saving up for anything, just don't like having so much in my account anymore. I only want to keep £1000 in my account if possible so at the end of every month I will be transferring the extra into the second account.

Has anyone got any advice?
