Shame about the dead pixel, but at least its only one. How does the monitor handle black colours? Do they look very grey?

Yeah it's a bummer Jack....I'll probably get used to it but it does spoil what is otherwise an excellent monitor....

As far as I am concerned the black is about as black as it gets!

There is alot of colour saturation though and it takes a little bit of getting used to if you are moving from a CRT. I've used TFT monitors and screens on laptops for quite a few years now and I'd say that it is the brightest TFT I have used.

I also think the speakers are acceptable considering their size...
