Moving into new build - no cable - do I have to use BT?!

Hi

In a couple of months we will be moving into a new build house. I know that there is not going to be any cable so does that mean we will be obliged to go with BT? We are currently on Virgin Media. Any advice much appreciated.

  • No, you can choose between the suppliers who connect lines e.g. IDNET, Post Office, Talk Talk, AAISP.

However it isn't a very long list.

Taking Talk Talk as the line supplier may compel you to use them for broadband too, assuming you want that.
