cannon dc310 dvd transfer

i have a cannon dc310 camcorder which records direct to dvd. i cannot find away to transfer the dvd content to my pc so that i can edit it in windows movie maker.
i am not in any way a techi so hope someone can help

Hi,
The dvd's that are created are bog standard DVD's that you can use in any dvd player.
So to get them into your computer you need to rip them as you would a normal DVD.
I recommend you use an application called HandBrake, which is free and available if you search in google.
If you also google, rip dvd with Handbrake, you should get loads of instructions on how to do it!
Once you have completed the process you will end up with a video file that you can import into Windows Movie Maker.
