Funding for an extra year?

Hi,
I have failed a module in my final year so I will have to be coming back next year to complete it. I am confused as to whether I can apply for student finance for the final year.
I am doing a 3 year law course however I previously re-sat my 2nd year so I have received 4 years worth of funding so far. Am I eligible for a final year. I had previously heard that student finance would only provide support up to 4 years of study so I wouldn't be able to get support for what will be my 5th year but I don't know if this is correct.
I have also heard that if student finance won't provide me with tuition fee funding for this year I would still be eligible for maintenance loan / grant which will be very helpful as work is hard to come by and as I'm still classed as a student I can't claim benefits such as JSL.
I was originally planning to get a full time job whilst doing this module and just taking one day out a week for lectures however employers are very reluctant to employee me with this in mind so I will be struggling to fund myself. I am also restricted to what work I can do due to an ankle injury from previous employment (I haven't made any claims from this though as I hope to go back into that job after my degree).
It might be the case that I am simply not able to pay for and attend this module. I don't want to lose my degree for the sake of one module!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you can get maintenance loan. I don't think you can get grants or tuition fees.
I could be wrong.0 -
You are indeed correct. Are you resitting the entire year or just the module?0

Just resitting the one module....rather annoying as the uni had previously said that my extra credit I had from modules in my second year would cover any failed modules, when I did fail one and tried to rely on that then suddenly that story changed!0
