Buyer Wants Refund.

Hi,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I sold a TV on ebay (150452484131) last night, the buyer came to pick up yesterday evening (despite not telling us, he just turned up at the door) and paid cash and went on his way.
He's emailed this morning demanding a refund as:
He had to spend 20 mins cleaning the TV, well it was dusty but we would have cleaned it if he actually arranged a pick up time.
Its scratched, the TV had a couple of purely cosmetic scratches that are not visible when the TV is on and I believed this was acceptable under Ebays definition of Used.
Can I buyer really expect a 2 year old TV to be like new when there is nothing to suggest that in the listing, I only stated it was in working order (which it is). Please advise what to do next as I don't fancy on listing the TV again, especially as it could now have scratches that were caused by the buyer while in transit.
Thanks in advance.

Collection items are basically sold as seen. The buyer had a chance to inspect when they picked the item up.
So you technically don't have to refund Though there was a washing machine thread recently where ebay refunded the buyer and charged the seller.
I must admit though your listing could have done with a lot more photos of the condition etc0 -
Prob could have done with more photos, tbh I don't sell much on ebay and when I do (prob twice a year) I just chuck a photo up and hope for the best!!! Plus the TV was in pretty good condition, the only scratches on it really were tiny!!!
Im really offended, I don't use eBay too often but Im very honest and up front when I do.
Thanks0 -
something similar happened to me, was with a reclining sofa, he came, took it and crammed it into a transit van even though he was told needed a flat back, waited till i left him feedback and then the problems started. it was battered he said, the reclining motor has gone he said, apparently the Keyton engineer said it would cost £80 to fix (he paid 480 for the suite) said if we gave him £80 then nothing more would be done..... where he fell down was i still have the ebay message from him 3 days before listing ended asking if he could buy it now for £400. he complained to ebay and paypal. i won because he had the chance to try it and check it, which he did and there was no problems. the ballache was that the funds were frozen for a month while it was sorted outBeen away but now i am back!
