UK business confidence sees 'record drop'

Quite an achievement by the coalition in just a few weeks .....
http://www.nationwide.co.uk/consumer_confidence/methodology/default.htmThe Consumer Confidence survey is conducted for The Nationwide by TNS, and was started in May 2004.
Hmm, "Consumer Confidence at Lowest Point in the Last 6 Years" isn't nearly as catchy.
I also just got off the phone to BDO, the people that do the Business Confidence survey and spoke to a very interesting and charming woman there. I'm not sure that this 'record drop' amounts to more than a hill of beans either but I'll post more on that later perhaps.0 -
Hi chucky :j
The lengths you go to to get me to read your posts, since you're on my ignore list...
Tee hee!
I'm not chucky, nor anyone else for that matter AND (this may come as a surprise to you as you obviously have a very large ego) I don't actually care what you think:DIf you keep doing what you've always done - you will keep getting what you've always got.0 -

Bloomberg thought it was worth reporting.....If you keep doing what you've always done - you will keep getting what you've always got.0 -

it's more impressive though, when you consider that those 6 years included the financial implosion in 2008, and probably the deepest recession of my lifetime in a global sence... first time since 1960 there was a global recession where world growth was actually negative....“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I won't make enough to warrant being involved with VAT. In fact, I won't make a profit for some time.
I believe it might be useful for me to have a loss-making business for a few years now...:o0 -

Funnily enough neither do many of us.
Sorry but making every issue or news story have a political slant doesn't work for me.
Believe it or not, many Company Board of Directors are made up of a multitude of opinions, views, backgrounds, political, religous views. But they put aside their differences and work together for a common purpose the Company, and to make it successful.
The same can be said of the coalition. Best available brains pooling their talents in the interests of the people of this country.0
