im new to quidco and just switched to scottish power through their link for cashback

id done all the comparison sites and it happened to be the best fixed tariff

i just want to know how long does it usually take to get cashback from a utility company

i know it can take 8 weeks to switch over so how long roughly after that do they approve cashback?

thanks

3-4 months I suspect, I would tend to think it errs on the longer side of that period.
However, given the appalling service we received from them, I will never use them again, even if they were the cheapest in my area.

Nonsense. Some may have had a hiccough but Scottish Power regularly pay their cashbacks within days of the transfer of supply.

In my case applied to switch to Scottish Power dual fuel 28/11/09 via TopCashBack , supply transferred 08/01/10 and £110.00 cashback paid 05/03/10 . Hope that helps .

    Here is another viewpoint.
I applied to switch to Scottish Power on May 6th, it tracked within a day but has remained there.
I have been asked for my meter readings so the switch should be in the final stages but still not validated.
So my thoughts are that 2 month minimum is the timescale.

MY switch to SP was done (with Quidco) on the 15 April, tracked straight away and validated 27 May.

    Topcashback suggest 10 weeks wait.
