Where can I download mobile software for Motorola V9 for free

My MotorolaRazr V9 has had water damage so I need to get the appropriate mobile software to see if I can rescue some of my non-sim contacts. Motorola will charge me £15 approx. I have googled it & some dodgysite have offered this free of charge. Does anyone know a safe site where I can download this software?
