Housing benefit payment???

Hi, i put a claim in for housing benefit and got a letter last week saying it would be paid in on 13thjune which was sunday so i expected it monday. Went to bank and it wasnt in. I spoke to a lady from HB and she said it was sent friday and its upto the bank when they put it in. I'm with santander can any tell me when it wil go in? I dont have a clue please help

It's not unusual, with the first rent payment usually being large due to processing delays, for the first payment to be made to the LL. Did you provide his details? If so, might be worth asking HB to check. Otherwise, call the bank tomorrow.0

Its 4 weeks payment and they havent contacted landlord they said it goes directley to me and its how long my bank takes and payment was sent on 11th june0
