Hi,
Been having problems with the spare room TV. The freeview box that we had originally found all channels apart from BBC (the one we wanted most).
When it eventually broke we bought a £14 cheap freeview box from Morrissons as it was very compact and took up much less room. We now cannot get any channels at all.
I bought a powerful amplified indoor ariel to see if that would help but to no avail.
Thinking there may be a problem with the ariel on the roof I decided to take out the scart from our satalite dish and try to tune our main tv (freeview built in) to see if the ariel on the roof was ok. It finds all channels no problem at all and picture quality is great.
Can anyone recommend a freeview box that would pick up the weaker signal? It's driving the Mrs mad and I'm getting it in the neck!
Any help is appreciated!

Can you split the aerial feed from the aerial on the roof and run a cable to the bedroom? I have mine set up like this and it's great.
Alternatively, I've read that the Humax freeview boxes are good for low signal areas.0 -
Shared development so no joy on the first part. Thanks for pointing in the right direction with a box though0

Agree re the Humax - mine works very well in a marginal reception area.0
