Conflicting Quotes + Any Uk Call Centres?

Hi All,
It's a minefield out there in utility switching land, but I'm plodding on regardless.
However, I've used 3 comparison sites, as suggested on here: USwitch, UKPower, and Energyhelpline, and they're throwing up some differences by the same provider.
I've tried to check the discounts offered, and they seem to be the same (although the exact calculation isn't shown, so you have to remember the £21 offered for a direct debit reduction, etc.).
Here's the main differences :
USwitch - NPower - annual bill estimated @ £1012
UKPower - NPower - annual bill estimated @ £1160
Engergyhelpline - NPower - annual bill estimated @ 1160
USwitch - Atlantic Electric - annual bill est. @ £1056
UKPower - Atlantic Electric - annual bill est. @ £1212
How are USwitch coming in at such a reduced amount, especially as I've given my annual Kwh amount?
Lastly, does anyone know of a provider who has a UK based call centre? I'm sick to death of overseas ones where the operator asks me to speak clearly as they are 'not understanding you'! Grrrr! This was incentive enough to get me to change both my phone and insurance providers, and I didn't increase my monthly bills either.
Any advice gratefully received. Cheers!

NigeWick wrote:Telecom Plus have their customer services in the UK. But, it is not freephone, although at least it's not an 0870 number. Some people on the forum have had problems with them but I never have. One rarely hears about a lack of problems
Nigel.
What Nigel conveniently fails to mention is that he is a distributor for them, and yes their Customer Service is bad.
