Dell Inspiron 1545- question

I recently had to reinstall my operating system but since then when i adjust the sound or turn the wifi on/of i don't see the on screen graphics that show what sound level i am adjusting the laptop to, the sound works an levels do adjust. Not sure how to get this feature to show again so any help appreciated.:)

I've downloaded the latest drivers for audio but am unsure if i need any others or if there is a different reason that this feature is not showing

I was more thinking of an application rather than drivers, maybe Quickset or the software for the Logitech keyboard is responsible for it.

Just downloaded Quickset as suggested which solved the problem. Many thanks tronator

If you used the restore partition, it should have put it back to the way it was delivered.
