Yes I gave them details, just gave an old phone number because I didnt want the cold calls..

I would have imagined a phone call to be the most likely so they can run through any questions/issues with the winners at the same time, though given the time it would take them to do this a letter is probably just as likely for the initial contact - then they can start phoning out in the order they're planning to install the appliance (which I seem to recall was fridge/freezers first).

I asked rltec (who are administering the offer) a couple of weeks ago, and received this reply over the weekend =

Hi Chris,


Thank you for your enquiry about our Dynamic Demand Trail. We are now in the middle of a rigorous selection process to ensure we have a robust sample of trial participants that is representative of the UK population. This process is taking longer than expected due to the volume of participants. We will be notifying all applicants whether they have been successful or not once the selection process is complete, and expect this to be in late November. If you have any further questions please let me know.

Just had an email from npower to say thanks for applying but i was not succesful. Kind of glad really as i dont need one as much as some people on here.
