Sad perhaps, but i like to keep a running record of my money in, out & progress. I've not kept on top of it for a while & need to update from March.
Looking in my online transactions for Halifax, it only goes back to 15Apr 2010.
So looking in my paper free documents section, there's a few entries left on the 17th of the month on Feb, Mar, Apr & the 18th May.
Great i thought.
The online document dated 17 March has entries from 17Feb - 16Mar......great
The online document dated 17 Apr is for some reason only covering the dates 11 Apr - 16Apr.
It's as though from 17 Mar - 10th April, nothing happened on my account...
...yet i know i was paid on 18 & 25th March as well as 1st & 8th April
How do i access transaction entries for these dates? Is there anything i can do?

My best bet is to phone halifax customer service on 08457203040 and they can look into this.0 -
Are you speaking from experience or hazarding a guess? Just so i know where i stand.
I thought about that, but wondered:
a. if there's an alternative way
b1. if they would even provide the information
b2. if there's a charge for such information.0 -
They have probably sent you a paper statement covering the time of the missing transactions.
The bank needs to by law now send you one paper statement per account a year. Ive got a missing paperless statement cause I got a paper statement through for that periodI work for HBOS and nothing I say or post reflects the views of HBOS0 -
I only ever received one paper statement & it was in January/February before i turned the paper free option on, so the missing dates wont have been covered by this paper statement unfortunately.
Is it likely to be a problem getting hold of the details?0 -
Like i say phone the bank they open 24 hours a day they will help you.0

Nope.
Exactly the same thing happened to me. Contacted Bank of Scotland (same systems, Online, call centres, et al) and was advised by the Online Helpdesk (08456 02 00 00) that they were aware of the issue and would be issuing paper statements to cover the missing period automatically. Sure enough I received a paper statement covering the missing period.
Calling Telephone Banking (08457 20 30 40) is likely to draw a blank, as it's an issue with Online. If you've still not received a paper statement, contact Online who will arrange for a paper statement to be sent. Also, there's no point in requesting the document sent (digitally) to your Online, they will decline.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0
