AA savings - no faster payments out!!!!!

damn didn't realise you couldn't do faster payments out of an AA savings account!!!:mad:

i assumed as faster payments worked going in they would also work coming out....:(

anyone else had this problem?

thinking now i might have to keep some in my tesco internet saver as that does FP both in and out:T

    The AA would not be alone on this. Coventry Building Society also receives but does not send. I suppose it is safer that way, less likely for them to be subject of fraud.

    Not many savings accounts do offer FP out.

    Tesco are one exception. I suspect RBS and Nat West are others (but can't remember).

    I can do same day transfers from Sainsburys into a Halifax Reward a/c - maybe can do the same with AA, making it almost FP?

    No, you can't.

    AA -> Halifax transfers do however take just two working days rather than the normal three.
