We have received e-mails to all the directors of the company that I work for from people claiming to want to place an order but can't get through, asking someone to call them back!! These are all from different named gmail accounts and have differently numbered 070 numbers. We called 3 times before I checked on the internet and we realised that they were a scam!!
I am going to pass your warnings on to all my colleagues and friends outside of work too!!0 -

Ummm 076 numbers are what all Isle of Man mobile numbers start with, so don't always assume it is a scam.0 -
I had a girl called Rashida Adams try and get me to call her on this number: 0044 7031879990
Thanks to everyone from this site reporting this otherwise I might have fell for it.0 -
07035999321 and +2347031640409 (this one is in Nigeria)
I looked them both up after getting calls from them...scam!Though the vision may not be the true future of man but it can't be completely beyond his control.0 -

Very expensive call from a landline .

0703 numbers cost 10.9p conection plus 47½p/minute to call from a BT residential landline.
http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumer/consumerProducts/pdf/SpecialisedNos.pdfTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
