Does this sound a lot?

I live in a 2 bed flat and my gas bill is £32 monthly and my electric bill is £34 monthly. Does this sound a lot or average??

Thanks!

    Below average.

The average UK bill is £1200 to £1300 pa - say £100+ a month.

That of course covers all types of property. and all types of usage, but £66 a month is OK

i would say about right, my parents pay £100 a month for elect an gas, but they live in a biggish house with 5 people.

I only have electric and pay £30 a month, in my previous place i was only paying £20 a month.

I live in a 2 bed flat and pay £50 combined DD per month - find the Summer evens out the Winter cost.
  • Thanks for that. I have switched anyway which will take it down to about £50ish a month.

Sounds mega high to me. I pay £65/mth total (£25.50/mth for electricity and £39.50/mth for gas) in a 3 bed semi. Even those amounts proved too high as I've just have a rebate of over £90.
