Can someone tell me how to delete Tweets that you have received please?

I joined Twitter just to get a discount for free postage at Boffer and have recevied about 140 tweets from people who have started following me.

I assume they are following me so that I go to their website (if they have a link on there) perhaps to gain money from clicks if they have an adsense account.

They can't be following me for any other reason as I have never written anything on Twitter and have no details in my profile!

You can't delete others tweets, however you can stop people from following you.

Thanks for the advice, I was going around in cirlces trying to find out how to delete the damned things.
