Can anyone advise if they have ever had any success getting LG to own a problem beyond the usual customer service line?
I have been incorrectly, according to LG, promised on two telephone calls a replacement of my LG Fridge Freezer if it was written off as it is 26 months old. Although the warranty expired after 24 months I would not expect an appliance costing in excess of £1000 to be beyond any repair after 26 months.
I have cover with Domestic & General who will pay half to a new appliance but despite being promised twice by LG that they would replace the appliance if written off they are now saying they wont.
I have asked Customer Services to escalate but all the girl says she can do is send a note to their BER department and ask them to meet the cost of the other 1/2 of a new appliance.
This is all despite the fact that they record their calls and would be able to trace the two calls where I was promised otherwise.
Ive tried looking on line for a Complaints office or Director office to no avail.
Anyone help?
Next line of enquiry, Sale of Goods Act -!
On another note if anyone has any bad experiences to report that may help me in contacting them with further instances of bad customer service.

the sale of goods act, and the small claims court should get them to see sense.Get some gorm.0

Only prob with sale of goods is that it was in the house when we bought it brand new so didnt purchase direct from LG - the kitchen fitters put the LG FF in brand new - not sure if this has any effect. In any event I think I shall issue for small claims tomorrow and hope this makes them see sense.0

Hi..in a word they are cr*p..we had a nightmare with them over our USA fridge freezer and it took months to sort out..give them their due i did manage to get hold of the MD and get it sorted and get a very good result but tbh i would have rather not had the stress over it all. They are shocking and i personally have decided to boycott them..our new tv we are getting which we can't make our minds up on! (loved an LG) is deff not going to be an LG!
Good luck and if i can help with any numbers etc i may have just let me know x0 -
Any and all numbers would be gratefully received - especially the MD - I want to catch them before they destroy the recorded calls where I was promised a replacement!0
