Can anyone advise if they have ever had any success getting LG to own a problem beyond the usual customer service line?
I have been incorrectly, according to LG, promised on two telephone calls a replacement of my LG Fridge Freezer if it was written off as it is 26 months old. Although the warranty expired after 24 months I would not expect an appliance costing in excess of £1000 to be beyond any repair after 26 months.
I have cover with Domestic & General who will pay half to a new appliance but despite being promised twice by LG that they would replace the appliance if written off they are now saying they wont.
I have asked Customer Services to escalate but all the girl says she can do is send a note to their BER department and ask them to meet the cost of the other 1/2 of a new appliance.
This is all despite the fact that they record their calls and would be able to trace the two calls where I was promised otherwise.
Ive tried looking on line for a Complaints office or Director office to no avail.
Anyone help?

On another note if anyone has any bad experiences to report that may help me in contacting them with further instances of bad customer service.

Why have you not taken this up with the retailer?Gone ... or have I?0

Because it was in our brand new house when we moved in and although Ive spoken to the developer it was bought through the kitchen fitters - if I cant get anywhere else with LG I may have to take up with kitchen fitters....0
