Benchmarx kitchen

Anyone had one? They look like Wickes kitchens - and are owned by Travis Perkins

Thanks

They are Wickes kitchens (well, effectively) but are rigid built instead of flat-packed...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Are they cheaper than wickes?? We have been looking at the heritage grey but it is way, way above our budget, however it is called Barrowdale at benchmarx but it is exactly the same, has anyone used them/recommend them?

Yes, they are cheaper than Wickes, but they are trade only (kind of like Howdens) so you'll need a builder/fitter to get it for you...

They will do a kitchen plan for you though, I'm only just at that stage and am shopping around.

But they are superior to Wickes as they have 15mm backs and sofy closers on doors as standard.

And you can't compare a flat pack to a rigid kitchen. A rigid kitchen is dowelled and glued inj the factory ands et on jigs so it is properly square. You will never guarantee this with a flat pack.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

Wickes kitchens already have 15mm solid backs, they have had since the range review in 2005. Same with soft-close, they were the first national kitchen retailer to use Blumotion fittings in the UK (They actually trialled the clip on hinges for Blum)

The Benchmarx kitchens are not dowelled and glued, they are flat packs built up...
