Just to add I'd like to think I was extremely flexible for viewings as I didn't want to turn anyone down. I told my EAs I needed a minimum of one hour's notice (where I'd rush around cleaning for a viewing) and never turned any viewings down, except for one which I re-scheduled for a later time because I genuinely couldn't be back from somewhere in time.
To that effect I had LOTS of viewings, some with relatively short notice, with the EAs hopefully telling every viewer I was a very accommodating, and serious seller. It must make a difference to the mindset of the buyer as opposed to dealing with a seller who can't accommodate viewings.

Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
