My son "invested" in some expensive wheels for his Focus. Now he wants to change his car.

Can anyone please advise what other cars these wheels might fit?

You'll need to check the stud pattern and ET rating of the wheel, or you may be able to get it to fit with spacers (although I think this may be illegal now?), but essentially if those are the same they'll fit any car.

  • Might be worth checking with one of the bigger wheel shops as they may have a compatability list.

it depends on what focus he has, the mk 1 and mk1 facelift had 4 stud, the mk2 onwards had 5 stud.

It's not just the stud spacing (PCD) and the offset/inset. They have to fit on the spigot that projects out from the hub too. In some (most) cars this is used to centre the wheel on the hub.

Spacers are still legal, although not good practice.

I would ebay them. Focus is a pretty common car (if not most common) and they will be snapped up by some boy racer looking to tart up his 1.4 LX.

Take note of previous point though re 4 stud and 5 stud change between mark 1 and 2. Also if the car they are going on had steels they will need different connection bolts.

Don't you mean 1.4CL? :p Although of course he will have already removed all visible reference to the fact that it's a 1.4CL, maybe even stuck some 'SPORT' badges on!
    Sorry...not very helpful...

    Thanks guys / gals,

The car is a 57 plate Focus 1.8 Zetec. I understand the Ford C platform is common to the Focus, C Max, Kuga, Mazda3, Mazda 5, Volvo S40 / C30 / C70 and V50, so wheels should fit.

We had thought about selling on eBay, Gumtree etc but I was hoping that if they might fit his next car too.
