POO STICKS you lot! I have been avoiding Harvey Nicks like the plague due to lack of funds and now you direct me to their sale site

I have had a couple of bargains over the years a £550 dress down to £275 and in the new year got a pair of VB jeans down from £225 to £45!! You can't even buy top shop jeans for that price.

I will tell you that sale time is the only time I even venture into HN these days lol

VB jeans down to £45!!! Wowww! :T... I'm gonna have a quick look now lol!

HOW ARE THESE BARGINS, you guys have too much money. Ironically its mainly Chavs and NED that by these clothes. They weird thing is if the brand was good quality and cheap you would not buy its only because you think its a bargin. No wonder so many people here are in debt.

The Outnet have some decent jeans for about that price, unfortunately i'm only 5ft 1" so i can't buy them:( They are designed for people with lovely long legs. I had my eye on some lovely Alexander McQueen ones and wondered whether i could alter them!

When I clicked on the link and saw things on sale for £900, my eyes nearly popped out of my head.
  • Its the price you pay that is important not the discount. I am not jelous. I just understand sales are mostly not genuine. For every bargin there is 100 rip offs. Something may say 75% off but did anyone buy it at full price. Has you been to DFS stuff says half price but the sale price is still twice what its actually worth. The stuff looks ok until you get close.

I have branded clothes and non branded clothes. I just buy what I like. Today I have timberland jumper, diesel jeans and a tmlewin shirt ( who like DFS ALWAYS have a sale on). I also have a ASDA bodywarmer and buy stuff in Tescos sometimes.

My point is why buy something just because it says 75% when its still to expensive for what it is. Its a trick!

Next time you go to the supermarket have a closer look at what is reduced. Sometimes its a good deal but often its not. I have seen stuff that was bogof and still more expensive than equally good alternatives. Take a calculator:-)

whether something is considered expensive or not is subjective, what one person considers expensive another wont.
It is also highly rude to make comments about debt me thinks-i for one am not in debt and love Marc Jacobs Handbags, so any sale in the UK is a good thing as I can normally only afford to get them from the US where they are cheaper as full price UK prices are too much for me. I work and save to buy nice things, to say someone has too much money just because they want to treat themselves in a sale is absurd.
