Unfortunately it is always a slow site.
Buying 'cheap' is often a false economy. Paying a bit more for something that will last a lifetime tends to be much better value.
Thanks for that. NOW I realise where I have been going wrong.Just off to buy a £800 handbag.Yep just the ticket.:rotfl:0 -

Do we have space to keep things for a life time? I'm constantly throwing things out! God knows where it keeps coming from lol!0 -
You would have thought they could afford a decent website....0

Oh come on, dmg24 is probably not rolling in it.
I would never even bu most of Harvey Nic's bits if I was rolling in it, I too tight! But I always buy classically styled basic smart wear, polo necks, t-shirts, jeans and non high fashioned shoes with a high tag as they do last years and wash well. High fashion things come as cheap as they get from the likes at george at asda or tesco! I used to think a high tag was a waste of money, but I must have worn a few select items 500+ times over 8 years and they look like they have been washed once or twice and the quality and fit is amazing.0 -

I couldnt EVER justify spending that amount of money on an article of clothing, but thats because i dont have the budget and i have 3 kids to run around after, so its high street all the way for me, then when theyve all grown up and left home, who knows.
Although i do have a serious shoe addiction, its never about the name on the label but the style, design and colour, some of my most comfy and favourite shoes cost me a fiver in the sale, and im gutted they no longer sell them ( i knew i should have bought 2 pairs) and some of my more expensive pairs (that were bought as gifts for me) are still sitting in their boxes unworn.
But if you can afford it go for it. Each to their own and all that.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
POO STICKS you lot! I have been avoiding Harvey Nicks like the plague due to lack of funds and now you direct me to their sale site
I have had a couple of bargains over the years a £550 dress down to £275 and in the new year got a pair of VB jeans down from £225 to £45!! You can't even buy top shop jeans for that price.
I will tell you that sale time is the only time I even venture into HN these days lolI find this board makes me spend more than I save!:rotfl:0 -

The Outnet have some decent jeans for about that price, unfortunately i'm only 5ft 1" so i can't buy them:( They are designed for people with lovely long legs. I had my eye on some lovely Alexander McQueen ones and wondered whether i could alter them!
