Had a Sunday do something similar years back - they were having one of their periodic "isn't it awful these men dressed as women" larks. Had a photo of a "Man" opening the door to a well know drag cabaret.

Yup!! You've guessed it, "The man" was me:eek: Much to everyones hilarity - and mine TBH.

May that be the closest I every get to being papped -:D

Normally on wiki you can edit it and change it. However for some reason they have locked the page (celebrity.wikia.com/wiki/Lara_Lewis) but if you look in the history it tells you the user who made the change to report that Martin and Lara had a daughter...

So I gave her an equally accurate Celebrity page ;-) celebrity.wikia.com/wiki/Sandi_Saraya

I try to avoid 'celebrity/gossip' style stories in newspapers because most of it is made up or exaggerated - even the so-called up market papers are guilty (I also really hate columnists who give their opinions, most of that is nasty vitriol). Even the local papers can't report stories accurately. This story/wiki is almost totally made up - they haven't even got Lara's name right!

Mum2one, what has happened to you is awful. When I was pregnant, 25 years ago, someone (who I did not know, nor had previously met) told my Partner that someone else (who I also did not know, nor had previously met) was the father. My Partner asked me if that was true, surprisingly I was not amused. She is now 24 and there is no doubt who her father is - she has looked like him since birth. Even now it makes me cross and I wonder what exactly what their motivation was. The people concerned were only known to my Partner vaguely, you couldn't even call them acquaintances.

It's shocking that people can publish lies such as this, especially on such a personal level.
What I really can't get, is why people would want to post such lies as truth, what's in it for them?:think:I just don't get it!

This is how some media "make" stories - fabricate a story, invite a strong denial - hey presto "TV money expert Martin denies pregnancy strife rumours"

I find the whole set up abhorrent which is why I don't buy *any* of the rags (Ok, Heat, Hello, Sun, Mail, Express etc etc etc) that use such techniques. If any of you have, then you're helping to encourage this type of thing.
