Im going to be making the following journey but cannot get cheaper tickets that £70 odd pounds.

Can someone please help me out.

Its for 2 adults both with 16-25 RAILCARDS

Leaving : Downham Market
Arriving : Leuchars

Dates : Outward date - 10th Aug 2010 ( dont mind it later than this)
Returning - 7 days laters that the outward date.

    Have you tried going direct to the train company websites?

    I often find vrigin's website is slightly cheaper than trainlines.

    A total of £76.70 is the best that I can see.
    Appears to be better availability on 11/8 - 18/8.

    Not too bad when you consider the best walk-up fare for the two of you is Super Off Peak Returns at £233 without railcard.

    Here's something for a start.......... two singles - £26.05 each way

    If you want to travel back overnight (13 hrs 13 mins !!!) you can get a fare of £19.15 for that........................

    So two people = £52.10 each way = £104.20 for the return trip. ;)

    £76.70 for that journey is pretty cheap buy it now before it goes as it's an advance fare that can and will sell out
