ebay issues

firstly i returned an item 2 weeks ago seller agreed to refund and im still waiting . what would be my next move ? i have emailed him today to try to resolve this matter .

my second problem is ive sold a dyson listing clearly stated paypal as payment and collection in person ,someone won it and now wants to pay cash when they come to collect it . ive already had emails from this buyer wanting my address prior to paying which untill payment is made i dont see why i need to do this.

cash on collection would be better for you, if they pay via pay pal and collect in person they could then state non delivery and you have no way to prove to paypal it hasd been received. you could end up with no money and no dyson.....

Open a paypal dispute then escalate and add your return tracking number to show you have returned it.

NEVER except paypal for a collection item. It leaves you open to being scammed. The seller can put a paypal dispute in after they take the item for non receipt. You wont have online proof of delivery so they will be refunded and have the item. Take the cash you also don't have paypal fees either
  • And think of the Paypal fees you'll save too!
  • OP - just out of interest why did you want Paypal & not cash?

  • you have to pay the FVF as it sold, and then just mark it as paid for in e-bay manually and leave feedback and then its all done...
Never turn down cash upon collection as like others have said leaves you open to scams and you pay the pay pal fees out of it as well
